The Hampton Social

Hi everyone! We are pleased to present our latest post regarding one of the trendiest, most popular restaurants in the Chicagoland area: The Hampton Social. Well known for their nautical-inspired theme, "Rosé All Day" mantra, and Instagram-worthy presence, The Hampton Social is a hot spot that is a must for preppy diners. Check out what we ordered during our recent visit!

The first (and best!) item to order is The Hampton Social's signature Frosé. The Frosé is crisp and refreshing, and offers a taste of summer all year round. If you wanted to stick with a more traditional drink, a complete beer, wine, and liquor list is also available. Our other picks include the Avissi prosecco and the Veuve rosé.

In the past, our appetizer and entree selections included the Jar of King Crab, the Steak Frites, and the Lobster Roll. Because we are big advocates on trying new options during our dining adventures, we both selected the Shrimp Tacos this time around. Sweet shrimp, creamy aioli, spicy jalapeños, and a hint of zesty lime came together to create a WOW dish that was absolutely appetizing in every aspect. The corn tortilla shell is an excellent alternative to the standard flour shell, as it lends an additional, savory taste to the meal. Salsa was provided on the side, giving the tacos an extra kick.

Finally, we chose the Berry Crisp for dessert--a deliciously sweet blend of toasty butter cookie cubes, a variety of berries, and whipped cream. We decided to have a scoop of vanilla ice cream added to the mix, which turned out to be one of the best decisions we've ever made! The cold, silky ice cream paired with the warm, crumbly, and crispy squares provided an incredible fusion of textures and flavors that was off the charts!

The Hampton Social prides itself on seafood, but also has a wide variety of salads, handhelds, and classic sides to suit those with all appetites. Brightly lit and adorned with shiplap and boating decor, it exudes East Coast living within every inch of space. Be sure to get your picture taken by their infamous "Rosé All Day" neon sign!
